How to Create Glass Text Effect in Adobe Photoshop

Hello, guys today we are going to show you “How to Create Glass Effect in Photoshop”. In this tutorial, you will learn how to apply the glass effect on any text very easily. Step 01
  • Open the Adobe Photoshop software.
  • Go to the “File Menu” and click on the “New” option.
  • Select the size of the canvas and click ok.
  • Select the color which you want to apply to the background.
  • Go to the “Tools Bar” and take the “Paint Bucket Tool”.
  • Now click on the canvas the color will be applied to the background.

Step 02
  • Go to the “Tools Bar” and take the “Horizontal Type Tool”.
  • Type any text which you want to apply the glass effect.
  • Now go to the “Layers Panel” and bring the “Fill Slider” to zero percent.
  • Right-click on the “Text Layer” and click on the “Blending Options”.
  • Tick the “Bevel & Emboss” option and do the setting as shown in the screenshot.
  • Now tick the “Contour” option make the contour option to “Ring”.
  • Here your “Glass Effect” is applied.
  • If you want to change the color of the background so click on the “Hue/Saturation” option.
  • Move the “Hue Slider” left of right the color will change.
